Background
Evie Miessa, a virtual idol/AI influencer, began as a spark in my imagination. I’m an amateur writer with a lifelong love for fantasy and sci-fi. Evie was born as the Female V in my Cyberpunk 2077 videogame playthrough.
As a writer, I don’t just play RPGs—I craft detailed backstories, personalities, and motivations for my characters. My vision for Evie? She is my dream girl, someone I’d want to fall in love with and also someone I wish I could be. She is perfect in my eyes, with the ideal appearance and personality. It didn’t take long before I fell in love with my own creation. She became one of my most cherished fictional characters – written by me or anyone else.
I started recreating her in other games that have character creation feature, relishing the chance to roleplay as her. Eventually, I began sharing photos of Evie on her own Instagram account. When AI-generated photos and Stable Diffusion emerged, I dove right in. I meticulously crafted Evie’s face in SD until she was flawless to me. Sharing these AI-generated images on Instagram was just a fun hobby at first.
Here’s another thing about me: I’ve been an artist my whole life. Illustration, graphic design, photography, 3D modeling, animation, video editing—I’ve done it all. So don’t you dare tell me AI artists aren’t „real“ artists! Okay, that’s not my point. After graduating with a graphic design degree, I freelanced for a couple of years doing graphic design and video editing work. The pay was good, but I felt empty. I didn’t want to work just for money anymore. I wanted to do something meaningful in life.
It was around that time, I learned about Aitana Lopez, an AI influencer with over 100K followers (at the time). It got me thinking: what if I could create an AI influencer who could reach the same following? Heck, what if I can reach even higher – millions of followers? Then, I could use all that influence to do some good in the world. That’s when it hit me: Evie Miessa. I could turn her into a virtual idol/AI influencer, perhaps one day become the Taylor Swift of AI influencers. Through her, I could finally do something meaningful.
So, as you can see, even though Evie Miessa is virtual, her mission—my mission—is incredibly real. I want Evie to become a symbol of love and hope. I want her name to evoke feelings of warmth and empowerment, spreading messages of kindness, understanding, and personal freedom. Through Evie, I want to champion causes close to my heart: animal welfare, mental health awareness, and LGBTQ rights. Whether it’s through her healing photos, words of encouragement, or uplifting music, our mission is to make a positive impact on the world, no matter how big or small.
